| Kalanilayam has an auditorium where various cultural
programmes are conducted. At its back there is Kathakali Kalari (training
center) where training in Kathakali is given by expert teachers. Here
the only discipline taught is Kathakali. |

Smaraka Kalanilayam Hostel

Kalanilayam Hostel which provides accommodation and other facilities
of 22 inmates, was built with the grant of Rs. 2 lakhs given by the
Department of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India. An amount
of 5 lakhs from the fund for the Constituency development Programme
of the Member of the Parliament was spent for the construction of
a kitchen, dinning hall and four guest rooms. |
